Our handyman, Ben Wood is very capable and can turn his hand to most jobs. Ben supports our Service Users with learning disabilities, teaching them practical skills and developing their confidence whilst they work.

All the handyman work we undertake is guaranteed so, if for any reason you are unhappy with the finished result, we will come back and redo it free of charge.

We deal with all the basic plumbing repairs that specialist plumbers don’t want to do such as

• Repairing toilet cisterns

• Installation of washing machines and dishwashers

• Fixing leaking taps and pipes

• Bleeding or replacing radiators

• Unblocking internal waste pipes

• Installing garden taps

• Plumbing in sinks etc.

 

We don’t handle work that is connected with the boiler or central heating system (except certain radiator repairs) or which involve external drains.

We clean windows using the water fed pole window cleaning system.

This system achieves better cleaning results as the dirt particles are agitated using a purpose made, soft bristled brush, and rinsed away using extremely pure water. The water fed pole system is a safer alternative, as no ladders are required and it also reduces disturbance and we can easily reach inaccessible places such as third floor windows, conservatory roofs, sloping roofs, and other windows that previously had to be left for safety reasons.
